Bali is a small island in Indonesia, Bali has many name there are “ The Island of Gods, The Paradise Island, The morning of The world” .It’s 5.632,86 square km. approximation from south to north 80 km and from east to west140 km. It’s between 60 and 80 south of the equator, so that Bali has tropical climate as the other island of Indonesia. The average temperature is fairly high that is 270c.
There are dry and wet season in Bali. Dry season is coming from April to September and wet season is coming from October to March. The capital city of Bali is Denpasar and headed by a governor and decided into 8 regencies headed by regents they are: Jembrana, Tabanan, Badung, Gianyar, Klungkung, Karangasem, Bangli, and Buleleng. Denpasar situated at Badung regency. Denpasar city as the center of goverment and business activities in Bali. Bali population with 3,5 million peoples. Almost 90 % is Balinese hindu religion and 10 % of them are moslem, budhism, cristian and chatolic. Balinese people has a strong sense of their community which is called “Caste” is divided into 4 caste: the first caste called Brahmana, the second is Ksatrya, the third is Wesia and the fourth is Sudra. The language of Balinese people is entirely with completely different vocabulary and grammar with Indonesian language in terms of tree forms: low Balinese is used between friend or family and when speaking to the same caste. Polite Balinese is used for talking to superior or stranger. High Balinese is used to indicates respect for the person being address.
Although Bali island called The Island Of Gods and there is many temple in Bali, Bali Hindusm is often misunderstood as being a faith with many Gods and Goddesses. Hindusm is monotheistic religion with one God as Supreme God is Ida Sang Hyang Widhi. These other God are merely realization or manifestation of the supreme God for instance, The Trinity: Brahma (the creator and symbol of the fire), Wisnu (the preserver and symbol of water), and Siwa (the transformer and symbol of wind). It’s returning everything to it’s origin.

North of Bali

East of Bali
